My latest flash, The Super Mario Rap, has just hit the portal. 2 weeks in the making (only working on weekend, so really just 4 days) and it's here! It passed judgement with a decent score, but could still use your support! You can view it here, and it would help if you submitted it to a collection :)

In other news, i'm thinking of continuing the That's My Bush series, but i'm scrapping my original idea to do delibrately bad animation, since it didn't go over so well. So when I get around to episode two, i'll be amping up the graphics and animation.

I made a quick flash today, based on the sitcom That's My Bush. It didn't do that well, but it was only made in a few hours, including audio. I'm thinking of maybe (after I complete my Mario flash which I neglected to work on this weekend) i'll do a second, longer episode - and actually put some effort into it. Just an update on the progress of my new flash, The Super Mario Rap. It's about 20% complete. 1/5th of the way there. A preview can be seen here. 1MB in size. As usual, there is no Preloader and the screen isn't matched to fit.

Anyway, i'm looking for people to help with art. The following things need to be redrawn and animated:
-Goomba's
-Koopa Troopa's
-Mario (left leg, right leg, head, body, left hand and right hand are done seperately.)

If you can redraw parts of Mario or reanimate the Goomba/Koopa, then give it a go and send me the .FLA! I'll co-author all that help. Make sure you animate it walking right to left like in the flash.

Also, I need the following:
-Blue Goomba
-Bowser (unanimated, all body parts seperate)
-Flying Goomba
-Flying Koopa

Once again, co-authors to those that help. The flash could be done within a few days - but to be honest, I never animate on Weekdays, so don't expect it to be finished for a week or two. I'm going to really work at it tonight and tomorrow though, so maybe i'll get through a level or two. Thanks. (also, my blam/protect rank is up. Voting power plus!)

The first preview for the Super Mario Rap can be found below.

The plan is to animate through the first 4 levels of Mario to the song. A basic rundown of what will happen.
First level - Running.
Underground - (working on now) Giant Mario charging through
Underwater - Swimming, avoiding bloopers. Oxygen bar for fun.
Castle - Mario grabs a sword and charges through fast, killed Bowser, finds Peach and gets ass. Edn.

Each section is about 1000 frames long, excluding the 4th which will be around 1,500. The preview is only the first part. Once i'm done animating i'll go back through and work on backgrounds, make animation smoother, redraw enemies/Mario etc. Anyway, just comment and give suggestions below.

If anyone wants co-authorship, I would appreciate it if you could draw/animate the following enemies in Flash (Flash 8 or below).
-Goomba.
-Blue Goomba.
-Koopa.
-Bowser.
-Flying Goomba/Koopa

I'm currently in the progress of creating a new animation, The Super Mario Rap. Alot of my projects consist of no more then a days work - but i'm going to be putting much more effort than usual in this one. It's about 4500+ frames long and is 190seconds. The flash will be animated to the Mike Jones song "The Super Mario Bros. Rap."

I've only been working on it for 2 days, and havn't gotten far. It's probably going to be a slow process since i'm still learning how to use flash properly. My other 40+ entries had little to no animation. Anyway, here are a few screenshots. I've only animated 10 or so seconds so far, so there isn't alot I can show, but it already looks much better in comparison to my other flash.
